Law Reform
The Western NSW Community Legal Centre’s Law Reform Committee identifies areas of law and policy that need improvement. We respond to government inquiries that directly relate to the needs of our clients.
We aim to:
-
Highlight the impact of the law on communities, particularly those experiencing social, economic or other disadvantages;
-
Draw the attention of governments and other institutions to legal injustice;
-
Recommend changes to the law based on our clients’ experiences; and
-
Advocate for policy changes that will enhance the lives of people in our region
If you have concerns about your experience with the legal system please contact us.
